so this is nicole alexandria o’shea, but she goes by colie, because everyone at her high school was named nicole and she was really tired of having to ask “me?” every time a teacher called on one of the five nicoles in her classes.

colie is a cali girl, born and bred. she grew up in westlake village, california, going to the beach in malibu (her favorite one is zeros, or nicholas canyon county beach, if you don’t hang out with a lot of surfers).

you know those girls who just sort of stumble into modeling because they meet an agent at the mall and that agent just begs them to try modeling? yeah, colie is not one of those girls. she’s wanted to be a model ever since she was twelve and first discovered the victoria’s secret catalog via her baby-sitter. everyone was so pretty, and they just looked like they were having so much fun.

also, she’s shit at doing her own makeup, so she wanted people to do that for her a lot. she will always wear her photoshoot makeup for the rest of the day, even if it’s really bright and looks ridiculous in the line at fresh & easy.

because she’s only 5’7”, she had the hardest time getting anything other than print work in, like, kohl’s ads. she got her big break after basically badgering victoria’s secret into taking notice of her.

her obnoxiousness paid off, because she’s now the pink spokesmodel, and it’s everything she dreamed it would be, mostly because colie’s very realistic and knew that the hours would be ridiculous.

she walked the victoria’s secret fashion show in 2010 and 2011 in the pink segments, but this year she’s really hoping to get a second look in one of the more “grown-up” segments so she can prove she’s got what it takes to be an angel.

she moved to new york as soon as she graduated from high school for modeling jobs, but moved back to california about a year ago when she became popular enough that victoria’s secret was willing to pay to fly her places. now she owns her very own house on the beach in malibu, which makes her smile every time she thinks about it.

her favorite color is pink, her favorite coffee drink is a grande iced caramel macchiatto (she only gets to drink like two a month. it’s the biggest sacrifice she’s made for her career), and she’s glad she’s a commercial model instead of a high-fashion one because she gets to smile in her pictures.

she’s very fun-loving and doesn’t take anything too seriously, so sometimes she comes off as a ditz, even though she really isn’t. she doesn’t care too much about it, because she figures as long as she knows she’s not an idiot and her employers know she’s not an idiot, it doesn’t matter much what other people think.

she’s known for spontaneously breaking out into dance on set.

colie recently broke into acting with a small part in INSERT MOVIE HERE. she really enjoys it, but nobody’s really sure whether or not she actually has any talent yet, because her role was basically “token hot best friend.”

she has an older brother (i suppose if you wanted to give him a role in the entertainment business you could?), but the sibling i really need is her little sister, who is eighteen or nineteen and lives with colie

six months ago, colie’s little sister tried to commit suicide, and when she got out of the treatment center that colie paid for (because her parents don’t really have a ton of money. they’re rich compared to a lot of people, but making $80,000 a year in westlake is like, poor), she moved into colie’s new house with her, because she just wasn’t getting along with their parents anymore. colie’s always been a bit of an overprotective big sister, so now she’s trying to figure out the balance between being a loving sister and friend and just being overbearing, which is really hard, because for god’s sake, the girl was suicidal a few months ago.

basically i want them to have a really complicated, confusing relationship where little sis doesn’t feel like she knows colie because she was out of there and off to new york the day she turned eighteen and she’s only been back sporadically since.

the other person living in colie’s house with them is her best friend from high school. he’s a year older than her, and he grew up next door to the o’shea family. he, colie, and her older brother basically grew up running around the neighborhood park playing tag together, and then as soon as colie’s big brother turned sixteen and got his license, they spent every minute they could at the beach (if you’re wondering why colie’s so damn comfortable modeling lingerie, well, that’s why).

anyway, he went to school and got a degree and now he’s an aspiring screenwriter. i don’t have any plans for his career or anything. that’s all totally up to you. but basically, either his career really hasn’t taken off yet or he’s cheap as fuck, or maybe he just wants to live near the beach, but either way, he’s bunking with colie. their morning routine is her sitting on her back porch (which is right on the beach lucky bitch) and sipping coffee and reading or journaling while he surfs and she pretends that she notices him catching waves even though she always looks up at the wrong time and sees him eating shit instead.

i think colie had a major crush on him from age six to age eighteen, when she left for new york, and he never really thought of her as anything more than his best friend until she booked her first vs ad and he saw her in a bra and panties and was like “holy shit, colie.” but by that time, colie was over it, because she’s not the type to dwell on boys who don’t notice her.

since moving in with her, he’s started to really fall for her, but i think maybe he’s dating a fellow screenwriter or something? he might have real feelings for screenwriter girl or he might be using her to make colie jealous. either way, colie’s kind of jealous, but then, she’s on giant posters in malls modeling lingerie, so how jealous can she really be?

i was thinking maybe james lafferty or josh bowman or michael trevino for a face, but i really don’t have a big preference. just check with me about the face if you’re interested.

so yes, this is colie, and i wrote a novel about her, and she probably loves you because she is an actual like girly little baby maltese puppy in the body of a model, and she just wants to cuddle with you on the beach and probably chase shit too if you throw it because yeah. so plot with her.
